FAQ
What sets me apart is my deep fascination with artists and creative minds. Musicians, performers, and all beautiful creative beings inspire me—their stories, their perspectives, and the way they express themselves. I’m committed to translating that into images. My work doesn’t just document performances, but captures the personal, technical, and creative aspects of an artist’s career, offering a range of possibilities for both promotional use and cherished memories.
Additionally, every shoot is tailor-made to fit the artist’s needs. Whether it’s choosing the perfect location, atmosphere, or vibe, I believe in customization to bring the desired aesthetic to life. It’s about crafting an experience that aligns with the artist’s vision, ensuring the final images reflect their unique identity.
My approach is centered on truly understanding the artist’s vision and capturing their essence in every shot. Before each session, I take the time to listen, learn about their journey, and discuss their goals. Whether it’s a live performance or behind-the-scenes moments, I focus on the artist’s energy, personality, and creativity, aiming to tell their story through candid moments and carefully composed shots. It’s about more than just taking photos—it’s about creating a visual narrative that feels authentic, meaningful, and unique to who they are.
When you work with me, I become part of the team, both on the road and behind the scenes. My priority is to make sure you, the person behind the artist, feel comfortable and supported. I understand the demands and unpredictability of the music industry—things can get hectic, and unexpected situations often arise. But with my experience as a musician and working alongside other artists, I’m prepared to handle those moments calmly and effectively.
While I’m artist-focused, capturing your energy, personality, and the atmosphere that surrounds you, it’s equally important to me that you feel at ease during the entire process. That’s why our contact before the shoot is just as crucial. It’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident when it’s time to shoot.
My approach blends flexibility, creativity, and a quick turnaround, always keeping your vision at the forefront. Unlike typical event photographers, I’m dedicated to telling your story, capturing who you are both on and off stage, while making the experience feel uniquely tailored to your needs.
For me, what matters, is that you feel that I see you the way you (wish to) see or portray yourself (albeit on stage). Working with me means more than just taking photos—it’s about forming a genuine connection and creating an experience that reflects your personality. I also offer additional services to further enhance your project.

My goal is to help you look and feel your best in front of the camera. So, yes! Prior to the shoot I provide hands-on support with styling, wardrobe choices, and even makeup if needed.
To make sure everything runs smoothly and prevent any hiccups during the shoot— like tripping over cables or wardrobe malfunctions – I always come prepared with a kit of essentials. This may include hand towels, zip ties/cable binders, safety pins and sewing kit, Band-Aids, and tape. But also, things like deodorant, tampons, a mini fan, and so on.
Beyond the practical side, I also offer guidance and coaching throughout the shoot to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in every moment. Feel free to let me know if you have any specific concerns, we’ll find a solution one way or another!
If possible, I will contact the location about the setup prior to the photoshoot.
Hybrid Photography: The Best of Both Worlds
As a hybrid photographer, I seamlessly combine the strengths of both iPhone and professional camera equipment to offer a flexible, creative approach tailored to each project. This allows me to capture the best of both worlds—whether it’s spontaneous, candid moments or meticulously composed, polished shots. Every session benefits from the unique qualities each tool brings, ensuring dynamic and personalized results.
By using both, I adapt to the demands of every situation, whether it’s the unobtrusive nature of an iPhone or the precision of a professional camera. This hybrid approach ensures that I’m always using the right tools to deliver content that truly reflects your vision, with high-quality results for every type of need.
The value of a professional camera
A professional camera is ideal for capturing high-resolution, print-quality images where precision and clarity are essential. While I work with both iPhones and professional cameras, there are certain situations where the capabilities of a professional camera truly stand out, offering enhanced quality and versatility.
Live Music Photography: Live music photography often presents challenging conditions, like low light, fast movement, and unpredictable lighting changes. A professional camera excels in these environments, offering superior performance in low light with advanced sensors and lenses that capture crisp, detailed shots, even in dim or dramatic stage lighting. The ability to adjust settings such as shutter speed, aperture, and ISO gives me full control over the image, ensuring sharp and vibrant photos that showcase the energy of the performance. Additionally, the use of interchangeable lenses allows me to switch between wide shots of the stage and close-ups of artists, capturing every moment with stunning clarity. Whether it’s a detailed shot of a guitarist’s hands or a wide, atmospheric view of the crowd, the professional camera ensures that every photo is captured with high-quality detail, making it ideal for larger prints, album covers, and editorial features.
Travel Photography: With superior zoom and interchangeable lenses, they capture distant landscapes or intricate architecture in stunning detail, preserving quality even from afar.
Portraits: The ability to create a beautiful depth of field (bokeh effect) allows for sharp focus on the subject while gently blurring the background, resulting in polished, professional portraits.
Studio Photography: For print-quality work, such as album covers or editorial shoots, professional cameras provide high-resolution images with exceptional color accuracy.
This equipment ensures that every detail is captured with the sharpness and precision needed for top-quality results.
The value of an iPhone camera
An iPhone offers a relaxed, low-key approach to photography, allowing me to blend into the background and capture authentic, candid moments. Its minimalist setup enables faster content delivery, ideal for social media and quick sharing—no need for long waits. If you feel uncomfortable with a larger camera, the iPhone is a great alternative. Its compact size makes it far less intrusive and more discreet.
While professional cameras shine in many situations, the iPhone excels in spontaneity and convenience, making it perfect for the following scenarios:
Live Music Photography: In crowded or intimate venues, the iPhone’s compact size allows me to move easily through the space, capturing raw, up-close moments without disturbing the flow of the performance. Its discreet nature helps me blend into the crowd, allowing artists to feel less conscious of being photographed. This is especially helpful for capturing those genuine, unfiltered expressions and interactions on stage. Additionally, the iPhone’s quick accessibility means I can instantly catch fleeting moments—like when the lighting hits just right or a performer connects with the audience—without the delay of adjusting larger equipment. It’s also excellent for creating real-time content for social media, giving fans a glimpse into the live experience while it’s happening. The ability to shoot video and quickly switch to photos allows for a seamless capture of both stills and dynamic content, making it a versatile tool during fast-paced live shows.
Travel Photography: Quick and lightweight, the iPhone is ideal for spontaneous travel shots, whether it’s capturing fleeting moments or unique perspectives. It’s easy to carry anywhere and allows me to shoot without the need for complex setups, making it perfect for capturing everyday travel experiences as they unfold.
Portraits: The iPhone’s unobtrusive presence helps subjects feel more at ease, allowing for natural, relaxed expressions. Its depth control features can still create a lovely bokeh effect, bringing out the subject while keeping the mood informal and genuine.
Studio Photography: While professional cameras often dominate in studio settings, the iPhone can be useful for behind-the-scenes shots or creating instant content during a shoot. Its flexibility allows me to capture moments that would otherwise be missed in a more formal setup, helping to document the process for social media or promotional purposes.
For fast-turnaround projects, instant, shareable content, and moments where a relaxed, candid atmosphere is key, the iPhone remains a powerful tool. Its convenience ensures I can adapt to any situation while still capturing the essence of the moment.
My approach balances quality and a low-key approach by focusing on authenticity and flexibility. While we set certain guidelines, every shoot is influenced by unique factors like location, lighting, and your energy on the day, which creates a genuine and atmospheric result. Whether using an iPhone for social media or arranging higher-resolution equipment, the core of great photography comes from the photographer’s vision and skill. What I can promise is a beautiful, authentic series of images that truly reflect the moment, no matter the tools we use.
Both tools bring unique strengths to the table, allowing us to adapt to each shoot’s needs. Whether capturing intimate moments with an iPhone or producing high-end professional images, I’ll ensure the content aligns perfectly with your vision.
Surprising and Dynamic Content: By working creatively with both the environment and the tools at hand, I ensure that no two shoots are ever the same. This hybrid approach keeps each project engaging and dynamic, capturing the true essence of the event or artist in a way that feels fresh and authentic every time.
Budget-Friendly & Accessible
My hybrid approach combines flexibility and high-quality results, making my services accessible to artists and performers across a range of budgets. By using a minimalist setup with fewer devices, I can deliver fast results—ideal for social media content and smaller projects—without compromising on quality. I work with professional camera equipment and can arrange for additional gear when needed, ensuring each project meets your specific requirements. This adaptability helps keep costs manageable, providing you with professional results that suit both your creative vision and your budget.
Authenticity Through a Low-Key Approach
Using an iPhone allows me to capture artists in their most authentic, unfiltered moments. Traditional cameras can sometimes feel imposing, making subjects more self-conscious. With a more relaxed, low-key setup, I create an intimate and comfortable environment where the real magic happens, letting your true essence shine through.
If you’re looking for personalized, authentic content that captures your artistry in the moment—without the wait, stress, or high costs—let’s work together!
My journey in photography is fueled by creativity, passion, and a unique perspective. Rather than following a traditional path, I’ve developed my craft through hands-on experience, capturing the essence of each moment. My portfolio reflects this. I believe photography is about more than just taking pictures—it’s about creating a human connection, and about telling stories that resonate.
